The 19th Annual Knox Marine Yacht Claims Conference
February 14 and 15, 2012
Roscioli Yachting Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
We choose these dates because the Miami Boat Show opens February 16. We've arranged discounted room rates at two nearby hotels. The rates run through Friday February 17 so that attendees can stay over and attend the opening day of the boat show. The shipyard and hotels are a short cab or shuttle ride from the Ft. Lauderdale airport (FLL).
Roscioli Yachting Center has recently opened a major expansion to the yard that includes a full-service conference center. The entire facility covers 14 acres and can accommodate luxury yachts up to 155'. The yard will offer a guided tour after conference sessions end on February 14.

Continuing Education Credits – Adjusters and Surveyors
We expect that the Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, and Delaware departments of insurance will approve the class for adjuster CEU's. We expect approval by December 1. NAMS and SAMS have traditionally approved 12 CE credits for the event.

Registration Fee
Individual conference registration is $470 and includes entrance to all speaker sessions; comprehensive conference notebook, including a roster of all attendees; refreshment breaks; raffle entry to win door prizes; unlimited networking opportunities; and more.
Hotels
We’ve arranged for discounted rooms at two nearby hotels. The rate at the Holiday Inn Express is $129 and includes parking and breakfast. At the Crowne Plaza the rate will be $139. Both hotels offer shuttles from the airport.

You may also call the hotels directly and make a reservation with the front desk. Ask to book out of the Knox Marine Consultants Group Block. Be sure you make your reservations before January 13, 2012 which is the cutoff release date of the group block. Whatever rooms have not been booked out of the block by that date will be reverted back to the hotel inventory. We are there during their high season so the rates will be significantly higher than the special group rate if you miss the cutoff release date.
