The 2010 Claims Conference will be held at the Service Training School at Volvo Penta in Chesapeake, Virginia. We’ve arranged discounted room rates at several nearby hotels. The school is a short drive from the Norfolk, Virginia airport (ORF).

This annual conference has become the premier event for professionals in the yacht insurance industry, including surveyors, adjustors, claims handlers, repair yard staff and attorneys. Join us to meet, learn, and network with the best!

Continuing Education Credits

Approval pending from the North Carolina, Texas, Florida, and Delaware departments of insurance. Previous conferences were approved for 12 CEU’s. We expect approval by December 1. NAMS and SAMS have traditionally approved 12 CE credits for the event.

Individual conference registration is $450 and includes entrance to all speaker sessions; comprehensive conference notebook, including a roster of all attendees; refreshment breaks; raffle entry to win door prizes; unlimited networking opportunities; and more.

Hotel Information

We have arranged a block of rooms at the Hyatt Place Chesapeake/Greenbrier, 709 Eden Way North, Chesapeake, Virginia. The hotel is convenient to the Volvo facility but is not within walking distance. Our preferred rate is $79 per night. Reservation details will be provided with your registration confirmation.
